Tranquillity and character

Pros: Light, airy and beautifully decorated apartment in a lovely old house. There is a beautiful garden with a luxurious swimming pool in a secluded part of the grounds. Geraldine and her family were very. friendly and went above and beyond to help us with transport when we arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning.The location is slightly inconvenient without a car, although we (three adults) were able to get in and out of Aix easily during the day using public transport.

Poolside in Provence

Pros: The upstairs apartment of this house was such a relaxing base for our stay in Provence. The pool and grounds are just amazing, it was such a treat to stay in a property like this as very different to what we have in Australia! Geraldine was a lovely host, happy to help us and very friendly. Geraldine lives at the property so was around each day if we needed anything. The self contained apartment is located on the top level. The kitchen was handy given the location was out of town, it was nice to prepare dinners at home and enjoy the pool.

Cons: Given the location you do need a car to make the most of your time at this property. As we didn't have a car, and didn't pre-book trains to nearby locations we were a bit restricted in getting about. An uber into aix cost us about 13 euro each trip which we did for a few days. Not a downside of the property, just something to be mindful of. We had thought it might be walkable to the bus stop but the road is very narrow so we didn't do this.

Oasi di pace a pochi minuti da Aix

Pros: Appartamento in un bellissimo contesto. La famiglia della proprietaria, che abita al piano di sotto, molto cordiale e simpatica. Unici il giardino e la piscina. Ottima soluzione per visitare Aix che è a pochi minuti in auto.

Top verblijf op een top locatie met topmensen als eigenaar.

Pros: Dit was voor ons een top verblijf. De eigenares Geraldine was een enorm charmante dame die ons heel veel uitleg gaf over het verblijf en wat te doen in Provence. De ouders en zus waren er ook en deze mensen waren top, en de hond Max niet te vergeten. We hadden het bovenste verdiep voor ons zelf en dit was zo tof dat we spijt hadden dat we maar 3 nachten hadden. Alles was zeer proper en ook alles was voorzien. Het zwembad lag achterin de zeer grote tuin (welke zeer mooi onderhouden is) en dit plaatje waarbij je zwembad en huis tezamen ziet zullen we niet snel vergeten. De afstand naar Aix was ongeveer 15min met auto en het huis zelf lag rustig afgelegen met automatische poort. Veilig parkeren dus.

Historisches Flair in Stadtnähe zu Aix.

Pros: Wunderbare Wohnung in schönem historischen Haus - gelegen in einem parkähnlichen Grundstück mit schön angelegtem Pool. Trotz Stadtnähe sehr ruhig und mit frischer Landluft. Aix mit dem Auto sehr gut zu erreichen.

Cons: In der Küche gab es zu viel Persönliches vom (Vor)Bewohner…
