Loft in hôtel particulier

Beautiful location, very spacious and comfortable.

Pros: Fantastic location in the heart of the city. Very comfortable and spacious, and even in April it was helpful to have air conditioning. We were met by Gauthier, who provided keys and also responded promptly to a question we asked a couple of days in to the stay. There are lots of places to sit with a coffee or glass of something cool, regular markets just a few minutes away, excellent restaurants, beautiful buildings everywhere.

Cons: The shower was excellent (power and temperature), but from the floor of the tub to the ceiling it was only about 6 ft tall, and my husband is 6ft 7in, so he really had to stoop to use it. I could stand up in the shower, but had to stoop a little to get under the shower head. And be warned that the noise at night is considerable - during the day no issues, but because it is right in the heart of the city, and places stay open very late, there were people shouting and singing, motorcycles revving, bin collectors picking up trash and restaurants emptying trash into bins. I never got used to it and slept very badly, my husband did acclimatise after a few nights. It would have been worse without air conditioning, as we could keep the window closed. One suggestion would be to have a handbook or folder with guidance information about the place and its facilities, including instructions and useful information (we asked about recycling and garbage collection).

Molt ben situat i confortable per 4 persones.

Pros: Situació i espai inmillorables.

Cons: Una mica de soroll i el fet que no s’hi pugui arribar en cotxe per descarregar equipatge. Al cost de l’apartament has d’afegir el del parking diari si viatges a AIX en cotxe propi.

Pros: L’appartement est tres agréable, excellente literie, très propre et avec beaucoup de caractère , situé dans le quartier historique d’Aix en provence…au milieu des marches de fleurs et de livres….
