Beautiful apartment. Lovely owner :)

Pros: The host France is absolutely delightful. Her gifts at the start of the week, and personal introduction made the place feel very welcoming and special. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed including a washing machine and clothes airer/drier. We got by fine without an oven. The garden is beautiful with the river both sides, and looking on to the aqueduct.

Cons: Others may need an oven possibly. There was nothing that we didn't like.

Une semaine à Fontaine de Vaucluse

Pros: L'emplacement est idéal, sur l'eau, la Sorgue coule aux pieds de la bâtisse en pierres... L'accueil de France a été très chaleureux avec des conseils, et des attentions très agréables. L'appartement est grand, la salle de bain notamment est très agréable. La décoration de l'appartement est faite avec goût, on se sent très bien chez France. Enfin le jardin, un peu fouillis, qui déborde sur la rivière, est très appréciable au soleil d'automne...

Cons: Comme souvent, les ustensiles de cuisine sont peu nombreux mais l'essentiel est là. Le coin salon comporte deux fauteuils anciens et un petit canapé deux places... Pas l'idéal si vous voulez vous détendre un peu. La literie conviendra au plus grand nombre mais un 160 serait préférable, la place le permet.

Gemütlichkeit am Wasser

Pros: Altes Haus (200 Jahre) das direkt ins Wasser gebaut wurde und nun eigentlich auf einer Art Insel zwischen Sorgue und einem alten Kanal liegt. Die Wohnung wurde von der Eigentümmerin sanft renoviert (es handelt sich hierbei um eine gemütlich renovierte Altbauwohnung und nicht um etwas zu Modernes). Sie ist gut ausgestattet und alles nötige ist vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und jeden Morgen im verwunschenen Garten gefrühstückt. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr zuvorkommend und hat es sich nicht nehmen lassen, jeden Morgen den Gartentisch zu reinigen,nachdem sie unser Frühstücksverhalten gesehen hatte.

Cons: Wir haben das bekommen, was wir gemäss Beschrieb und Bilder erwartet hatten. Deshalb stimmte es für uns genau so wie es war.
