Cocon du Papillon à Lourmarin

A wonderfully appointed apartment in a great location. Highly recommended.

Pros: We received good instructions about locating the property well in advance. Unfortunately Barbara could not meet us there and we did not get the required code via a wifi message while we were travelling. However a call to Barbara when we arrived quickly rectified this and allowed us to enter. The apartment, in an old building, has been renovated thoughtfully and very attractively. Everything we needed was there, everything was easy and extremely comfortable, the modern shower was particularly great. The village is lively and attractive with plenty to see and do. The neighbouring villages and countryside are also beautiful. There are many places to eat in Lourmarin & surrounds but it was also great to retreat to our comfortable “cocoon” at the end of a busy day. It was very quiet at night and we slept well. Highly recommended!

Cons: A very minor issue: 1 dishwasher tablet for a 3 night stay was rather limiting.

Pros: Spacious. Got everything I need. It’s in the middle of village but tuck away in small street. Very quiet at night. Many dining options to choose from. I recommend Pizzaria Nonni, very good food but lower price.

Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: Bel appartement spacieux, propre, confortable et très bien équipé au cœur de Lourmarin, ce charmant village du Luberon.

Quelques jours à Lourmarin comme on les aime au cœur de l'hiver !

Pros: L'appartement était très agréable en cette période hivernale car il est doté d'un chauffage par le sol qui répartit très bien la chaleur. Il est spacieux, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, fonctionnel et très propre. Un vrai cocon !

Lieu idéal à la fois pour se poser et découvrir la région.

Pros: Appartement super agréable, spacieux, calme, très bien situé dans le centre de Lourmarin. Aménagé avec beaucoup de goût. Les moindres détails ont été pensés.

Charming apartment in the village center

Pros: Excellent location on a quiet side street just behind a busy square with most of the restaurants. The apartment is lovely, spacious and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for a long stay (we stayed 3 nights). Air con in the bedroom worked well and is so refreshing after a very hot day sightseeing. Complimentary bottle of wine. I had some small issues (coffee, trash bags) with the amenities provided but were quickly sorted out by the owner and housekeeper with positive results.

Cons: No fan in the living room to cool down this area during these hot summer days. For those with mobility problems, it is a steep 10+-step staircase to the unit itself (I don't remember if this was mentioned in the booking description). The housekeeper sent me a message on whatsapp to give the code to the lock box to get the keys. In the interest of privacy, all messages should be via booking messaging system. There was a moment of confusion before check-in because I was not expecting her to message me on whatsapp. And how did she even get my number?

Pros: Wir lieben es direkt in alten Städtchen zu wohnen und dafür ist Lourmarin und Cocon du Papillon perfekt. Die Lage haben wir bei unserem letzten Besuch in Lourmarin im Jahr 2024 kennen gelernt. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung ist hervorragend und äußerst geschmackvoll. Fazit: 100% zu empfehlen - wenn man gut zu Fuß ist.

Cons: Keine Kritik, nur ein Tipp für Gäste. Aufgrund der engen Gässchen in Lourmarin muss man sein Auto \
