A beautiful property, 10 minutes from the City centre
Pros: Clemence and his family were excellent hosts, very welcoming. This property is beautiful and has been in Clemence's family since the 1960's. The home has been lovingly restored , the bed is super comfy, the rooms are beautifully appointed. The house interior is stunning .The breakfasts were generous and fresh.
Cons: The only thing that is tricky is when you first arrive at the driveway it is very close to a round about exit , so just keep that in mind.

Perfect
Pros: Loved our stay in this beautiful property, the antiques were stunning and evident of the long family history of ownership. Our hosts were supberb, helpful and attentive. Definitly recommend and would stay again. Need a car as a little bit away from restaurants however we did Uber into Aix for the day, there and back for 25 euro, saved the hassel of parking. One day we drove To Cassis on the coast, easy 90 minute drive and worth it. Beautiful Lourmarin only 40 minutes drive and definitly worth visiting. Gorgeous grounds and magnificent plane trees, overall a beautifully kept French manor.

A beautiful authentic chateau family B&B for those wishing to relax in a lovely country environment.
Pros: We loved our stay in this beautiful chateau in the countryside of Provence. The chateau is a family home that is welcoming and luxurious, with beautiful rooms, and common areas with antiques and comfortable sitting areas. Clement was a very friendly and obliging host. The breakfast, served outside, was fresh with lovely croissants, fruit and cold spreads. The pool was very welcome in the heat. The King sized bed was firm and comfortable, and the bathroom large and luxurious. The aircon was not too noisy and very effective. Security is good. The location is excellent for Marseille Airport, and just outside of Aix en Pce. I can highly recommend.
Cons: We loved everything, and the chateau was perfect, but just to note you do need a car as there is no public transport to Aix-en-Provence (only a 5-10 minute drive), and many of the closer restaurants are closed some evenings, particularly Tuesdays. There are no self-catering options although plenty of grounds for picnicking.

A charming Château stay with wonderful atmosphere
Pros: We loved the Château! The size of the rooms was great, and we really enjoyed the pool and surrounding grounds. The spacious garden created such a peaceful atmosphere. The interior design was beautiful, and the host was very friendly. The L'Occitane toiletries provided in the bathroom were a delightful touch. Also, we absolutely adored the dog! Highly recommended.
Cons: We didn't like the breakfast, it was rather basic, and items frequently ran out. The host replenished food as needed, but we would suggest adding at least some vegetables and boiled eggs for more variety. The host positions this property as a bed and breakfast, but considering the price, decor, and overall feel, it aligns more with a boutique hotel. As experienced travelers who've stayed in numerous hotels across many countries, we believe this property is beautifully designed with genuine care and attention. A higher-quality breakfast would significantly elevate the overall experience, which is something expected at this price point. Also, facial tissues were missing in the bathroom, it would be important to provide them.

Pros: Clement and Sara made our 4-day stay a great time at Chateau de-Saint-Girons. Stylish rooms based on the historial environment and a spacious park with 300 year old plantan-trees, impressive ! This created a very nice atmosphere for privavy and silence. The chateau is indeed very charming. Excellent breakfast was available outdoors in a pleasant atmosphere. Great ideas for activities by Clement as the host (like the village of Cassis) helped to discover a natural treasure. Thank you very much for the great time, hopefully soon again
Cons: All was very fine
