Pros: The owner and all of the staff were excellent and extremely helpful in guiding us through the City and introducing us to some of the vendors we didn't know. Highly recommend this facility to anyone wanting an authentic French experience!

A charming and welcoming hotel and restaurant

Pros: Very comfortable historic building sitting over a small tributary of the Sorgue river visible from the restaurant, close to the centre of l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue with lovely rooms and a pretty restaurant. Really nice owners and staff and the food is a brilliant fusion of French and Indian influences with one charming Indian female chef whom we met and a separate French chef, working together. Tarun and Esme the owners are delightful and Stéphane the excellent sommelier has been working there for 25 years. Good value, too. Very highly recommended in all respects

A hidden haven of calm

Pros: Warm welcome on arrival at this family run small boutique hotel. Lovely room decorated in a contemporary Provencal style. Building renovated with a high standard of workmanship throughout I . Good breakfast served in the hotel's restaurant. We used public transport from Avignon to visit Isle sur la Sorgue. The hotel is only a five minute walk from the bus stop. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Cons: Better pillows needed. This is a problem in a lot of hotels though.

A very happy welcome by the owners. They were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.

Pros: A beautiful hotel with personal touches in a great location. Great breakfast and breakfast staff and wonderful set menu dinner in the courtyard. The couple owning and running the hotel have sold it and we hope the superb standard will be kept up by the new owners .

Pros: Quiet and beautiful, right in the middle of town but feels peaceful and tucked away, with the river running through – like a secret escape. Lovely owners. Ah, the croissants!
