La Luberonne

A very pleasant place to stay!

Pros: The owner is a very friendly person and the whole place is very welcoming and comfortable. Apart from the very pleasant room, there are a range of facilities to make your stay even better: a nice swimming pool, a lounge with TV and assorted games to hand, and even an outside kitchen. Parking on site was not a problem. Breakfast was a perfect start to the day. The hotel is very near to the town centre, an easy walk to a range of restaurants and boutique shops. La Luberonne is an ideal place to explore the highlights of the Luberon area of Provence: Bonnieux, Isle sur la Sorge, Gordes, Lacoste, Menerbes, Roussillon, Cucuron, etc.. All very pleasant, and this hotel is totally recommended.

A great place to explore Provence and relax by the pool.

Pros: The property is located approximately 200 meters from the town center. Our room with balcony is modernly equipped and the cleanliness of the room is good. Breakfasts are delicious and served on the patio. The pool is beautiful and clean. It's a great base for exploring Lourmarin, Cucuron, Lacoste, Bonieux, and other wonderful Provençal destinations.

Fabulous stay in a great location

Pros: Excellent location, very clean and well appointed. Nice breakfast. Very helpful owner giving excellent recommendations for excursions.

Just a tiny bit short of perfect.

Pros: Very clean, lovely hosts, great breakfast , nice pool and very good location. Only thing that could have improved it more were if curtains were on the windows to block out the light.

Cons: No curtains.

Pros: Excellent location - easy walking distance into the village of Lourmarin. Good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants - would specifically recommend la recreation. Room very comfortable, excellent breakfast and very helpful and welcoming host. Village has excellent market on a Friday. Good vineyards in the vicinity - tried Chateau Constantin - just outside the village and also Chateau la coste about half hour drive. Lots of beautiful hilltop villages to visit- Bonnieux, Rousillon, Gordes and many more.

Pros: We were greeted and made to feel extremely welcome and at home as soon as we arrived by our host. The room was perfect, the location extremely handy for the beautiful town, the breakfast lovely and the pool a welcome addition after a day out.

Great cosy, clean room. Good breakfast too. I would recommend staying here!

Pros: Great room, it was cosy but worked well. Good location, short walk into town. Handy having free parking on site. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great! Fruit, yoghurt, bread and a hot drink. Really enjoyed it!

Four days exploring Provence

Pros: We received a warm welcome. The room was spacious. It was nice to have a seating area and a lovely view of the pool. It was a peaceful location, with shutters. So it made for a good night's sleep. The breakfast was served inside and outside. There was smooth hot coffee, juices, yogurt, local breads, cheeses and seasonal fruit. We also received great advice about places to visit.

Cons: It was all great.
