Ermitage Notre Dame de Vacquieres

Pros: *Perfect Base for Exploring Provence!* We had a wonderful stay in this charming, historic house. The location is ideal — peaceful, yet perfectly situated for day trips throughout Provence. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hosts were absolutely exceptional — kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with great recommendations. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. Highly recommended — we would love to return!

Lovely relaxing place, comfortable and clean with great breakfasts.

Pros: L'Ermitage exceeded our expectations. Lovely room in a beautiful house, set in a great location, ideal for exploring the local area. There is also a downstairs lounge with fridge and coffee machine, plus a walk-in wardrobe next to the bedroom with plenty of storage and hanging space, which as we stayed for a week, was very useful. Eric and Marie-Claude were lovely hosts, very welcoming and helpful. They had lots of suggestions for places to visit and very useful tips for parking, routes, galleries etc. Eric's breakfasts were wonderful and included freshly baked gluten free bread which is something we definitely did not expect, plus cold meats, cheeses, fruit, pastries, preserves and freshly cooked eggs/omlettes.

Cons: Some signage on the road would be helpful as the entrance is easy to miss.

Elegant property in lovely location, superb breakfast

Pros: Beautiful and elegant property, historic building and huge comfortable bed. The breakfasts prepared by Eric were perfection! Location was good for the Alpilles and St Rémy.

Hosts are the best and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Pros: The hosts were incredible and made our stay outstanding. The hospitality was amazing. Breakfast home cooked with local specialties. Perfect itinerary prepared by our hostess. All the recommendations were excellent and made the stay in Provence very memorable.

Cons: The room is a bit out of the way and doesn’t have any outlook.

Pros: Marie-Claude and Eric are great and warm-hearted hosts who care deeply about the well-being of their guests. Starting with the perfect equipment of the rooms, numerous exploration tips, to perfect breakfast under blue skies on a beautiful property. This property can be enjoyed 100% alone as a guest, as the hosts have their own retreat and they only accept one guest couple at a time. Every day there was a varied breakfast with fresh herbs, vegetables and fruit from our own cultivation, as well as homemade bread. On arrival there was a small aperitif and during the stay Marie-Claude and Eric invite you to an aperitif, with delicious wine and homemade tapenade in the evening. We highly recommend this property. We had a wonderful two weeks with excursions and relaxing days at the beautiful pool.

Cons: There is nothing negative to report. Our stay has exceeded our expectations in all areas (cordiality, location of the property, breakfast, room, bed, comfort, cleanliness).

Séjour parfait

Pros: Excellent séjour ! Eric et Marie-Claude sont très sympathiques et attentionnés. Le cadre est splendide, la piscine magnifique et la chambre très confortable. Les hôtes multiplient les petites attentions pour que l’on se sente chez nous. Nous recommandons chaleureusement d’y séjourner.

Pros: Nous avons passé un séjour idyllique à l'ermitage notre dame de vacquière, nous n'aurions pas pu espérer mieux pour quelques jours de repos. Les vrais plus : - la sympathie et les attentions des hôtes, - le petit-déjeuner copieux, local et délicieux, - le charme et le calme de l'établissement, qui invite au repos au son des cigales - la situation des lieux, proche de tout

Pros: Wo soll man anfangen? Diese Unterkunft ist ein Kleinod, eine Oase, ein Paradies. Die Lage, die Einrichtung, das Frühstück und die beiden Gastgeber: alles verdient 10+ Punkte. Alles ist schön, sauber, romantisch und mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Wir haben selten so ruhig geschlafen, so toll und variantenreich gefrühstückt. Wir haben exzellente Tipps für die Umgebung bekommen und wir haben den fantastischen Garten genossen. Wir liebten es, von Ermitage Notre Dame aus die Provence zu entdecken!

Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement

Pros: Belle chambre d'hôtes à la fois confortable, très soignée et bien équipée. Elle est installée dans une grande et belle maison entièrement rénovée, entourée d'un beau jardin arboré avec piscine et plusieurs espaces de détente. Petit-déjeuner très copieux, très bon avec des produits locaux pour certains faits maison. Le petit-déjeuner était servi dans une grande pièce très agréable et soigneusement décorée. Les hôtes étaient très attentifs et accueillants.

Cons: En dehors de la météo inhabituellement mauvaise, nous ne voyons pas de point particulier qui pourrait être amélioré...
