Wonderful.

Pros: Perfect location. Beautiful house, garden & swimming pool. Superb breakfast. Welcoming & hospitable owners. Enjoyed our stay. Fabulous.

Very nice accommodation close to popular places of interest. Better value for money in warmer months

Pros: The en suite bedroom and adjoining sitting area was really almost a suite, very comfortable and attractive, like the photos. There was a small fridge and coffee and tea (pods) provided. The breakfast, which was served inside as the weather was cooler, included home made yogurt and conserves, cheeses and pastries and fresh bread, juices and hot drinks. All was high quality and plentiful. We were asked what time we wanted our breakfast (between 8.30 and 10). The outside areas were also attractive and a good feature for warmer weather.

Cons: We weren't aware that we would be the only guests and that we would therefore be sharing outside space with the owners and eating in their dining room (due to the weather). They were very nice and the house too - but we werent expecting this arrangement. Nearby was not well served with restaurants (late September and we don't eat meat) and as we were also tired after walking we would have liked to eat simply (delicatessen food, not cooked) at the accommodation once or twice but there was no provision for this. Given the price per night this made us feel it was not good value for money and we could not make the most of having more than a bedroom.

Despite unseasonably cool weather we throughly enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Super breakfast with homemade jams, yogurts, olive oil and delicious chocolate pots. Fresh fruit , cheeses plus bread, croissants etc. Our bedroom had a huge very well fitted bathroom and a separate room with seating, TV, coffee maker. Secluded courtyard and garden with spotless pool and plenty of seating, loungers etc. Loved all the art, ceramics and quirky artefacts. Pretty well kept village with local bar / restaurant. Nadine our host was charming, helpful and very tolerant of our rusty French. We would definitely recommend La Maiz .

Cons: Due to the age and traditional construction of the house, thick stone walls and small windows the room was dark so lights were needed all the time. But this was unavoidable in a house of character. Also there were uneven stone stairs up to the room from the courtyard and to go from the bedroom to the sitting area and exterior. Booking.com should mention this in the details. Also be aware that even in high season many restaurants in the area are shut from Sun to Weds night inc.

Exceptional and totally relaxing

Pros: Decor, food, hospitality, swimming pool, attention to detail.

An exquisite, service driven stay in Provence.

Pros: The accommodation is really in a home - and the service is like being a special guest in a private house. For our purpose (to be close to Menerbes) the location was ideal. Having a courtyard virtually to yourself and a pool almost to ourselves is superb. And an exquisite breakfast every morning to boot. The local patisserie, butcher are a few steps away from the location.

Cons: The owners are aware that WiFi is currently sketchy at times and are trying to fix this. We found the fridge a little too small. For such a location in the summer it would be better to have a slightly larger fridge to store cheese, fruit and wine without bothering the owners for help. It should be noted that there is no public transportation or taxis of any kind in town.

Très confortable et acceuillant.

Pros: Chambre très calme et très confortable. Salle de Bain magnifique avec des tas de petites attentions de la propriétaire. Petit déjeuner abondant et délicieux. Tout est soigné.

Pros: Miejsce przepiękne- urządzone z dużą starannością i smakiem. Wygodny, przestronny apartament z małą lodówką oraz ekspresem na kapsułki. W łazience zarówno prysznic jak i wanna. Wspaniały ogród z basenem, w którym jest podgrzewana woda oraz czarujące miejsca do wypoczynku. Śniadania obfite, zróżnicowane i bardzo smaczne. Czysto zarówno w apartamencie jak i na terenie posesji. Gospodarze cudowni. Nadine i Jacques są uważni, pomocni i serdeczni. Udzielili wielu rekomendacji, co do atrakcji, które można zobaczyć w okolicy oraz bardzo dobrych restauracji. W odległości krótkiego spaceru od apartamentu jest mały sklepik spożywczy oraz lokale, gdzie można zjeść lunch czy kolacje. Wioska jest mała, wiec przed przyjazdem warto sprawdzić dni i godziny otwarcia lokali i zrobić sobie rezerwację lub poprosić o to gospodarzy. Bardzo dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania okolicy samochodem. Polecam to miejsce. Wysoka jakość, spokój i wyjątkowi gospodarze pełni ciepła i poczucia humoru
