Well appointed property in a beautiful town

Pros: The house is very well appointed with everything you would need to self cater if you choose not to eat out at a restaurant. It is a very historic property in a beautiful town

Pros: Very interesting house. Many interesting details. Perfect lokation.

Cons: A railing on the stairs would be nice.

Lovely stay in Bonnieux

Pros: Quirky and cosy house with lots of character. It was well located, peaceful and the hosts were always on hand to answer our questions. We really enjoyed our stay at Antoine and Helene’s home.

Cons: Not recommended for those with mobility issues and only toilet is on the ground floor of the four storey house. This being said, the positives outweigh this downside.

Can’t give you a 10 because we found your place lovely but impractical for us - sorry!

Pros: Lovely 12th century building restored beautifully. So spacious and beautifully decorated. Location great. Hosts exceptionally helpful re restaurants etc.

Cons: Many heaters we couldn’t start and it was quite cold. The stairs were a real problem - I am 81 and often up in the night going to the loo. Quite scarey using those stairs. Even for my 20 years younger friend. I feel a description of those stairs etc should be in your booking.com blurb. Head height approaching loo tricky too.

Beautiful Bonnieux maison

Pros: What an amazing maison. We loved living in a medieval bakery. Comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. The sitting room was perfect for relaxing with the family, the door to the toilet is amazing. Bonnieux is perfect for exploring the local area, we loved Lacoste and the gorge but it wasn't for the faint hearted. Views from the village are simply stunning. Brilliant shop 4 mins walk away with lots of fresh produce. Plenty of restaurants and bars.

Cons: We expected the stairs and were fine with them but some may struggle.

Wonderful 18 nights in Bonnieux!

Pros: Comfortable spacious accommodation. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Comfortable beds. Remained cool, even during a heat wave. Great location with restaurants, shops, and galleries very close. Free parking nearby, weekly market, wonderful views nearby, and good access (by car) to other towns and tourist attractions. Great, prompt communication with Helene and Antoine. We loved staying in a home with centuries of history, a fantastic experience.

Cons: Nothing, but stairs could be an issue for some. One bathroom and (separate) toilet, and bedrooms and living areas are not well lit, but we had no problems and loved our time here.

Pros: Le caractère de cette maison du 12eme siècle avec ses pierres apparentes et ses poutres L’espace du séjour où on peut vraiment être à l’aise et la pièce d’entrée au RDC où on peut entreposer les bagages .

Cons: Un manque de maintenance ou de renouvellement de certains équipements

Wonderful historic home in the middle of a beautiful village

Pros: Wow! To stay in a 12th Century house is incredible….to think about all that history! The rooms were spacious and it felt homey! It was right in the village so very close to everything! Great communication with the owners!
