A wonderful week in a beautiful villa. Highly recommended.

Pros: This is a beautiful villa, which surpasses the photos. Communication with the owner was very good and the concierge Sylvia is delightful and gave us an excellent welcome. The house is very well equipped and spotlessly clean throughout. There are 3 double en-suite bedrooms. The pool is lovely. The location is very quiet, on a hill on the outskirts of Aix and a very few mins walk from a regular bus service into Aix Centre which takes 10 mins. The bus does not run late but Ubers are easy to come by to get home after dinner. The Terrain des Peintres where Cezanne painted the view of Mont St Victoire many times is only about a ten minute walk away. The Villa is a very good base to explore Aix and further afield.

Cons: There was nothing we did not like.

Prachtig huisje met alle voorzieningen

Pros: We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf! Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien, met een ruime hoeveelheid kookbenodigdheden én alles wat je nodig hebt voor het huishouden. Wat echt een pluspunt was: elke kamer had een eigen badkamer en toilet – super handig en comfortabel voor een groter gezelschap. Zeker een aanrader!

Cons: Als we toch iets zouden moeten noemen dat beter kan: de oven maakte na gebruik nog even wat lawaai, en de messenset – met name de keukenmessen – is misschien aan vervanging toe. Maar dit zijn echt kleine details, want over het algemeen was alles aanwezig en in goede staat. Zeker een aanrader!
