Light & spacious apartment.

Pros: The apartment looked great in the photos. On checking in, it absolutely exceeded our expectations. Spacious and well appointed. Very central whilst still being quiet during the evening. Off street secure parking. Very airy and with amazing light (see photo).

Fabulous

Pros: This is the flat to stay in Aix. There is no need to look any further. Great location, a few minutes’ stroll to the pedestrian area, market, museums. The views from the bedroom and balconies, the greenery on both sides together with the the perfect provencal smells and sounds of cicadas are mesmerizing. The flat is spotlessly clean and very modern, recently refurbished. The hosts are kind and helpful. It has a parking space in the garden, so you can explore perched villages easily.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Good location - close to the city centre and the motorway (perfect for day trips from Aix), clean, well equipped, quiet, with a nice view and a parking space.

Pros: It is in a very good quiet location, easy walk to the centre of Aix. Good base for visiting the surrounding areas. Well-equipped kitchen, nice views, small but good balcony.

Cons: It had a bath but no shower. The sofa bed was not comfortable. No lift. We couldn't get the TV to work but it didn't really matter as the kids had a tablet.

Great apartment that suited us perfectly

Pros: Host was very helpful. Lovely quiet apartment. Beautiful views (front and rear). Nice balcony. Lovely to hear church bells in mornings (not too loud). Everything we needed was provided. The decor was chique with a lovely well-chosen colour scheme. Every day, we enjoyed listening to music from great French radio stations on the antique Grundig radio. The sound quality from the radio was superb. We had a very pleasant stay. There are several high quality food shops within 150 meters of the apartment. Every morning (except Monday when it was closed) we went to the nearby boulangerie / patisserie 'Au Pavé Du Roy' (it must be the best in Aix!) where they offered a selection of lovely fresh bread, an amazing variety of fantastic cakes, as well as beautifully presented savoury snacks. We would love to return to stay in this apartment again.

Cons: There was nothing not to like about this apartment. It was perfect.
