Authentique Appartement Aixois

Very nice.

Pros: Location was perfect for me, very central and within walking distance to everything I needed. Lots of markets happen in the town so it was easy to walk around, buy things and drop it off to the room if needed. The room itself was comfortable and spacious. I will say, if you’re travelling with a heavy suitcase, just heads up, it’s on the fourth floor with no elevator. I didn’t mind that at all though. I’d often leave the window open to hear people passing by or enjoying coffee at the eateries in the courtyard below.

Cons: Not necessarily things I didn’t like. Just things I worked around. The bathtub has slow draining, it still did the job for me so I didn’t mind. But if you’re someone who’s iffy about that then that’s something to consider. I wasn’t sure how to switch the washing machine on. I tried a few of the buttons and looked up the model to see how it works but couldn’t figure it out. Unsure if it was plugged or may be a technical issue, so might be good to check in with the hosts on how to operate it hehe. There are laundromats around the area too and within a 5min walking distance.

The Aix experience

Pros: The apartment is in an old building and overlooks a pedestrian street, It is quiet. The main sights, the principal art museums and the theatres are all within ten minutes on foot. There's an open-air market for local fruit, salad materials and other comestibles just round the corner. Nearby, too, are an excellent restaurant (Le Ramus), cafés (Weibel for French breakfast at the highest level, Kava for something more U.S.-style but still à la provençale; Weibel is open everyday from 7:30 a.m., but Kava closes on Tuesday and Wednesday), and some of the better sort of souvenir shops (table linen). Have to mention also Lavarenne (first-class boulangerie) and La Fromagerie du Passage, which are conveniently near each other. You need to bring soap and be prepared to walk up four floors.

Ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub, fußläufig waren die Stadt, die Parks und Museen sehr gut zu erreichen.

Pros: Die Unterkunft befindet sich zentral in der Altstadt. Die Ausstattung des Appartements war außergewöhnlich. Die selbst angefertigten Tische waren sehr individuell und sehr gut gefertigt.

Un très bon plan

Pros: Localisation exceptionnelle, appartement très bien agencé et équipé. Pratique d'avoir un vrai canapé en plus du lit. Communication avec l'hôte très réactive. Je recommande vivement cet appartement

Cons: Le lave-linge en panne

Pros: Nous avons apprécié le confort et la tranquillité de l'appartement ainsi que sa situation en pleine ville

I would stay here again and recommend it to others!

Pros: This was a lovely little place! In the heart of the city, with so many places near by to shop or eat. The kitchen was well stocked (minus salt), but there is everything you could need in there. Overall great place for the price.

Cons: I was hoping to do some laundry (as there is a machine in the kitchen), but it did not work. If you are noise sensitive when it comes to sleep you may have a hard time here as the walls are very thin and the street noise can get a little loud at night.

Cons: Tout était bien, seul petit bémol la télévision n'était possible qu'en replay Ce n'était pas dérangeant puisque nous n'étions pas là dans la journée

Pros: Location is the top draw followed by the charm of staying in an old but well kept bldg.

Pros: Un endroit bien placé, très propre, très joli, une communication fluide avec les hôtes.

Cons: Rien ! Juste peut-être quelques informations supplémentaires pour les voyageurs fatigués comme moi qui n’ont plus de neurones sur comment fonctionne le lit et l’eau chaude de la douche.
