Appartement au coeur du centre historique

We had a wonderful time in this attractive flat in the most perfect location in Aix-en-Provence.

Pros: This is a charming flat in a perfect location near the cathedral. It is in a new renovation of a beautiful 18th-century (?) private hotel. The entrance was gorgeous and the flat itself, on the ground floor as we wanted, was well equipped, clean and attractive. As an unexpected bonus, several of the residents in the building were especially friendly and helpful.

Cons: Two things prevent me from giving the property a straight 5-star review, as I would like to have done. The first is that the property managers were unreachable when I came to get the keys, though I was exactly on time. The coded front-door system did not work because the managers did not pick up the phone to authorise my entry. I was then unable to reach them on their direct line. Fortunately, another resident of the building came by and let us in. Thereafter all the check-in instructions worked perfectly. The second drawback is that there is no air conditioning in the flat and the small fan provided is not powerful. I knew in advance that this was the case, but both the manager and I hoped the temperature would be moderate in a ground-floor flat in an old building with thick walls. This was not the case in the middle of a very hot July, unfortunately, and our guests were so uncomfortable that they booked a room in a nearby hotel. This would not be a problem in any other season but as summers become increasingly hot it is a factor that needs to be considered.

The apartment was so lovely it added to our travel experience.

Pros: Loved this modern, stylish ground floor apartment in a stunning historic building. Good for people with stair issues. Quiet but close to everything. Spoilt for choice for cafes, bars etc. Everything functioned well and the apartment is surprisingly roomy. The washing machine was a bonus.

Cons: Nothing - it’s all good. Merci!

Pros: L'appartement était très joli et pratique. On a tout! J'aimait aussi la machine à laver et l'espresso machine et...manifique avec la cuisine et phantastique qu'il est située au centre ville. Je retournerai!!

Clean, spacious, beautiful, great location

Pros: I liked everything about the apt from size, cleanliness, furnishings and especially the location. Particular to my tastes, I liked that the shower hot water came on quickly and the shower stream was strong. The building is beautiful I am curious as to what it was used before. Sometimes the big heavy front door would stay open and this invited people - usually tourists in to explore the downstairs. That was ok, but perhaps a reminder to the residents to shut the front door behind them especially at night. Loved the stay!

Pros: L'appartement, situé en plein centre, est très pratique et propre. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour un séjour à deux ou quatre personnes. L'arrivée se fait de manière autonome, mais l'hôte répond rapidement en cas de question.

Cons: Rien à améliorer, mais peut-être savoir que l'appartement donne uniquement sur la cour d'un joli immeuble. On y est un peu exposé aux gens qui rentrent et sortent.

Pros: La struttura si è presentata molto accogliente,fornita e pulita. Gli spazi erano ampi.

Cons: Il materasso era soffice , il divano letto da preparare e un leggero odore di scarico.
