Le Beffroi de Gaston Climatisé

Compact central apartment with good facilities. Recommend.

Pros: Very central, comfortable bed. Compact but very good.

Great location, great host, great apartment

Pros: Alena was our host at Le Beffroi de Gaston Climatise. She was fantastic, so helpful and easy to communicate with. She arranged for us to leave our luggage at the apartment when we arrived whilst it was being prepared. The apartment was on the third floor without a lift, she met us at the apartment and she took all our luggage up to the apartment. When we were checking out she came to the apartment and helped us to get the luggage to ground level. The apartment is in a great location next door to the hotel de ville, in the heart of the old town. It was very well appointed with air conditioning, a large bed and a washing machine to mention but a few. It was very clean and comfortable and was the perfect place to enjoy our stay in Aix-en-Provence.

Cons: Clearly a lift would have been great to ease the climb up to the apartment each day, but this was largely offset by Alena assistance.

Pros: Really cute little apartment in the best location in Aix right near a square with the best outdoor food markets. The host, Alena has a real attention to detail and the apartment was presented beautifully. We loved the location, the furnishings and the comfort.

Cons: The building itself is a little run down with the lift not working, but if you ignore this the apartment was perfect for a couple for a short stay in Aix.

Pros: The location was great, at the old town, the room was great, Alena was very kind

Cons: Take notice that you need to climb stairs in order to get to the apartment

Pros: Great location. Alena was the perfect host to welcome us. The entry pretty rough but the apartment is excellent. Feels safe. Even though there was noise from the square below, the windows are very well soundproofed. The bed super comfy. Well appointed with everything you could need!

Gorgeous little apartment, beautifully presented

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay in Aix. The apartment is super cute and beautifully presented, with many thoughtful details. Everything was wonderfully clean and organised, plus the location is superb - right in the middle of everything and yet wonderfully quiet.

Cons: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, but there were two things that could potentially be a problem for some people. One was that the apartment is in the fourth floor without a lift, so it’s quite good exercise getting your bags up to the room. The other thing was that the apartment is quite petite with a low ceiling in the bedroom. Tall/broad people might find the space a bit small. If you are fit and average sized then this is a fabulous place!

Lovely, comfortable bolt-hole apartment for exploring this beautiful city

Pros: Perfectly located for exploring Aix. The air-con really helped on the hot days and nights. The ability to leave bags in the room before check-in or after check-out was much appreciated.

Cons: Make sure you remember to take everything with you when you go out because there’s several flights of stairs to climb if you forget anything!
