A very pleasant stay in Aix

Pros: We couldn’t have asked for a better location, 5 minutes walk from Gare Routière ( Google map told us a longer way ). It’s right in the center of the town, everything is close by. The apartment is perfect for our 3 nights stay, it had everything we needed. It was quiet after pubs closed.

Cons: It’s a small apartment, if we stayed longer, we possibly would prefer a bigger space.

Great central apartment in Aix

Pros: The location was fantastic close to everything. Hosts were very responsive to our questions and needs. The apartment and bed was very comfortable. We were aware the apartment was above a pub and expected it to be noisy but it was not an issue for us as the bedroom is very quiet. .

Pros: Perfect location and apartment. Lovely space to relax and feel safe. Everything you need is nearby.

Cons: I had read previous reviews before booking the apartment regarding the noise, especially from the pub below. I understood this but not that this pub was the only business playing loud music until 02:00 in the morning. Ear plugs are provided to help.

Fab bolthole in a great location!

Pros: Great location on a small square filled with life! Apparent had everything we needed. Nice beamed ceilings, great shower, comfy bed!

Cons: Nothing it was great.

Pros: Central location was perfect. The good aircom in July!

Cons: It was noisy - above a pub and looking over a busy square. But it wasn't a big issue for me. There is a step in the corridor which could be a problem in the dark.

Perfect stay in the heart of Aix-en-Provence!

Pros: Aix-en-Provence is our favorite destination. However, the thing that held back the experience in our last visits was the really bad accommodations… They're usually small, far from the city or really expensive. NOT the case with this Appart des Augustins! This apartament is spacious, very clean, beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you need. On top of that, the location is fabulos! The apartment is situated in the heart of the old city. We loved our stay here and we can't wait to visit again. Also, although we haven't met the hosts, Laura and Renaud were nice in all our communications. I bet they're wonderful people!

Cons: Nothing was actually bothering us. It's true that the nights get noisy in the center of the old city, but the windows are of really good quality and they isolate most of the sound.
