Perfect apartment to explore Aix

Pros: Lovely apartment in a quiet street. Had everything you need including a coffee machine. Lots of hot water. Close to a boulangerie and carrefour. This apartment is perfectly situated, 5 minute walk to the old town. Easy access to the motorway. Car park space is great although only suitable for a small car. Can’t rate this apartment highly enough. Will definitely be back.

Comfortable apartment in central location.

Pros: Very good location close to the center. The kitchen was well equipped (stove, oven, microwave, dish washer, washing machine). The bed was good. All in all it was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The floor had some damage and one light a loose connection.

Pros: Location is great. Helpfulness of host owner Jean-Philippe, communicating by messages and Whatsapp, who showed initiative by booking us into delightful restaurant Le Patio when we arrived a bit late and stayed in touch to ensure all was well. It appeared to have all the facilities for a long stay. We only used the kettle for tea - some teabags were provided.

Cons: Nothing serious. Maybe the main double bed which had to be squeezed into a smallish area so whoever slept by the window had to clamber about. No problem for the able bodied.

Cómodo y céntrico apartamento para visitar la ciudad y la zona de la Provenza.

Pros: La ubicación es perfecta en un calle tranquila muy cerca del centro de Aix, con una plaza de aparcamiento que teniendo coche, como era nuestro caso, fue comodísimo. Los propietarios muy amables para resolver algunos inconvenientes que tuvimos al llegar y atentos en todo momento a que todo estuviera bien. Nos dejamos unas gafas en el apartamento y han sido tan amables de enviárnoslas a España por correo. En general todo muy bien.

Cons: La vajilla muy bonita pero no apta para el microondas, el horno no conseguimos encenderlo.

Pretty apartment about 10-15 minutes walk to most sights and restaurants.

Pros: Nicely decorated. Fully stocked. Only a couple of blocks from the rotunde. In a quiet building with locals.

Cons: This area of town is a little less attractive than other areas. The door lock is difficult to open. There is no full bed. Just a twin size daybed in the living room and two small cot-like beds in the bedroom that were not that comfortable. The AC doesn’t cool the bedroom only the living area.

Pros: Sehr saubere Wohnung und komfortables Bett. Die Lage der Wohnung ist nah der Innenstadt und nach den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.

Un rincón coqueto en el corazón de Aix en provence

Pros: Espacio cómodo y funcional con todo lo necesario para unas buenas vacaciones y en pleno centro de la ciudad. El anfitrión es fantástico, no creo que haya muchos como él.

Cons: No hubo nada.

Heel goedgelegen appartement bij het centrum, maar niet voor oudere koppels.

Pros: De ligging was perfect. Heel dicht bij het centrum. Een eigen gratis parking was top.

Cons: De Badkamer : douche in een hoog bad was slecht geïnstalleerd met een regendouche op 1 meter hoogte ! Niet voor oudere mensen zoals wij. Slaapkamer : het bed stond veel te dicht bij de muur en kon niet opgeschoven worden door gebrek aan plaats.

Pros: Sorridente accoglienza della Signora Fanta che ci ha accolto e mostrato l'appartamento. La locazione perfetta per due persone è situata in una posizione eccellente, in prossimità del centro di Aix e a breve distanza a piedi da tutte le principali attrazioni della città, ma fuori dall'area più frequentata e rumorosa, L'ascensore e il posto auto sono gli altri aspetti più che positivi dell'alloggio. Un supermercato nelle vicinanze e la boulangerie sotto casa sono molto pratici.

Great apartment at a perfect location only a couple of minutes of walking from downtown Aix En Provence.

Pros: Fully furnished and very nice apartment in a perfect location to reach downtown Aix in only a couple of minutes of walking. Property is equipped with everything necessary for a long stay, which makes it perfect also for people on business travels. MonoPrix supermarket at only 2 minutes of walking for grocery. Owners have been very welcoming, kind, and responsive, providing lots of helpful of practical advices in many occasions, which really made a difference. Highly suggested.

Cons: Parking space is small, but it will fit most European cars. If you need parking, I suggest to rent a small car to make it easier. Large cars like mini-vans will be hard to park.
