La Farigoule - Sainte-Victoire - Vue exceptionnelle sur Aix-en-Provence

Pros: Beautiful Location, very friendly and accommodating host.

Cons: Nothing bad about the place itself, just a note that I believe a Car is needed or its a 30 minute walk into town through the forest which is not easy in the dark.

Fantastic from start to finish phillipe and his family where outstanding will be back for sure

Delightful Provençal stay in rural part of Aix en Provence

Pros: Location and setting are beautiful. Aromas of pine everywhere. Lovely pool and nice view with sunset. Friendly older couple in the main house. Welcoming but also respectful of privacy. Near to town but very peaceful.

Cons: You will need a car here. You can walk to town easily on a footpath but it wouldn’t be easy with big shopping bags on way back up. It was not an issue for us at all, but people should be mindful before booking without a car. Fabulous place to stay if you can arrange car etc.

Everything we needed for a perfect week in Aix

Pros: Philippe was a wonderful convivial host and the property was very spacious and well equipped with beautifully arranged gardens and fabulous views over Aix and a fantastic location on the doorstep of some great hiking while still walkable into the city. Loved the new king size bed !!!

Wonderful location in the hills of Aix

Pros: Most beautiful location in the forested hills of Aix with awesome views and gardens. So much outside space! Ate breakfast and dinner on the terrace. Right next to an off-road Ricky Camino pathway so easy to walk to town.

Excellent property in a beautiful location

Pros: Location: beautiful setting sitting above Aix-en-Provence, surrounded by forest, very quiet and peaceful, with easy access to Aix (but you do really need a car). Swimming pool: a lovely swimming pool right outside our door. Bed: very comfortable (if you like a firm mattress). Facilities: great to have a washing machine and dish washer. Wifi: very good and fast wifi. Air conditioning: very effective air conditioning downstairs (which was needed with temperatures of 38c) but the mezzanine area upstairs where the bed is located still gets very hot. Parking: free and easy to access to parking. Cleanliness: the property was very well maintained and cleaned very well.

Cons: Air conditioning: more effective air conditioning in the bedroom area on the mezzanine level. Bathroom: more towels would have been appreciated and a new (shorter) shower curtain. Door / window screens: you are in the middle of the forest and therefore lots of insects and mosquitoes are flying around, a screen for the front door and windows would have been useful.

Great location

Pros: The view is amazing. Lovely pool and plenty of activities (e.g. table tennis, boules, trampoline). Nice area to run and walk. Lots of space in villa. Hosts very friendly..20 minute walk into Aix En Provence with plenty of good places to eat.

Cons: A few things in the villa need some attention (e.g. the hob needs ungrading as it takes ages to cook anything). A few other guests a little inconsiderate (e.g. putting towels on the sunloungers and then going out for the day!!!!)

Pros: Its a separate house in a villa with pool and great view. 10 min from thw city. Amazing place.

Pros: Un grand merci à vous deux pour votre accueil si chaleureux à la Farigoule. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. Le lieu est magnifique, paisible et plein de charme. La localisation est idéale. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Merci encore, et au plaisir de revenir un jour!

On ne peux rêver mieux !

Pros: Merveilleuse situation dans un domaine préservé, authentique aux abords immédiats d’Aix en Provence. La vue est superbe, piscine, terrasses et bâtiments très élégants. Et la montagne Ste Victoire est là !

Cons: Rien. Ou peut-être une petite lumière dans l’escalier.
