Bastide Sainte Agnès

Very pleasant with nice hosts.

Pros: It was in a lovely quiet location, the hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the rooms were beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good

Cons: A little way out of Carpentras so we had to drive to go for food ( although a list of restaurants with opening times and phone numbers was in the room) breakfast was a bit sparse with a choice of an egg or yoghurt to go with the pastries and fruit. Parking was quite tight but nicely secure with a code for the access gate. Booking. Com need to correct their mapping as it brought us to a dead end at the back of the property rather than off the road named in the address.

Pros: Very friendly & helpful hosts, Good Breakfast, Lovely garden & pool to relax in. Outside kitchen & Bar area with fridge & cooking facilities, so no pressure to eat out. All round excellent Accommodation.

Amazing place with amazing staff!

Pros: The staff were amazing. We had a taxi booked for the evening and they knocked on our door to let us know it had arrived. We woke in the morning to car problems and the staff helped translate to the hire car company in order to arrange a recovery vehicle. If it hadn't been for their help, we would definitely had missed our flight home. While waiting for recovery, we had breakfast which was amazing. We sat outside and drank coffee with fresh fruit and pastries which was lovely after the start we had that morning.

Pros: Beautiful relaxing guesthouse with lovely comfortable rooms. We loved sitting in the beautiful garden and swimming in the pool and the delicious breakfast! Beautiful region although it is difficult to get around without a car (train station is 50 min walk)

Perfect!

Pros: I highly recommend this place, the hosts are wonderful. They are happy to provide advice, provide maps and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast is typically French, with delicious homemade jams and yogurt and you can also ask for cheese or eggs. A perfect starting point for exploring Provence, and the beautiful, peaceful garden with a swimming pool allows you to relax after the trip. A great convenience is the summer kitchen with a fridge. The rooms are large, clean, air-conditioned. I would love to go back there!

A really nice place to stay and excellent value with wonderful hosts.

Pros: A very nice property with an excellent swimming pool and outside area for relaxing. Very friendly hosts. A very nice breakfast served outside as the weather was wonderful. They were happy to serve the breakfast out of normal hours as we were making an early start.

Cons: It was difficult to find as it’s on a small gravel road and you have to be right at the property gates to see a sign for it, however this does make it very safe and secure. Being English, we would’ve preferred a kettle in our room as it was you had to go downstairs to use the facilities.

Beautiful country side stay

Pros: The room and facilities were beautiful and clean. The owners were so helpful and kind. We stayed with our 1 year old and a cot and baby bath were provided to make our stay more comfortable. The breakfast was so tasty. We will definitely be back!

Very friendly boutique hotel with wonderful garden

Pros: We stayed at the Bastide Sainte Agnès for seven nights and enjoyed every moment at this beautiful property. Stephan and Isabel are very friendly and dedicated hosts. All their recommendations for excursions, bike tours, restaurants and wineries in the Carpentras area were spot on. The rich breakfast in the wonderful garden is a great start to the day. And the garden with its sun loungers and pool is the perfect place to relax. The hotel and the surrounding area deserve to stay for several days. The next time we are in Provence, we will be happy to come back. Many thanks for everything Isabel and Stephan!
