Perfect

Pros: Our hosts went above and beyond . Attention to detail for accommodation and garden blends old and new perfectly. Breakfast was varied and fresh produce from village. Coming back after along day sitting in the garden with a glass of wine was so relaxing. Beds were extremely comfortable.

Warm welcome in a beautiful house and garden

Pros: Absolutely top, in every way. We were warmly welcomed by Eric and Agnes and the historic house was beautiful. Our room had plenty of space and a large bathroom. We enjoyed playing pool in the library in the evenings. The meal on our first night was super, as were the breakfasts. Superb use of seasonal produce and of the local area. We adored the Chateau Unang wine as recommended. The garden was peaceful to return to and the swimming pool was superb. I recommend that you ask Agnes and Eric to make restaurant bookings for you. We were glad we had a hire car to see this area although some guests were on a cycle trip.

Pros: It’s a little bed and breakfast kind of place in the middle of Mazan. Super cute and classical style of Provenance. If you look for a an authentic place to stay look no further

Es waren 5 perfekte Tage in der Provence!

Pros: Ein Gebäude aus dem 17. Jahrhundert wurde liebevoll, bis ins Detail restauriert und wird teilweise von Agnes und Eric vermietet. Die beiden kümmern sich rührend um das Wohl ihrer Gäste. Wenn man Glück hat, kann man an einem von Erics 4 Gänge Menüs teilnehmen. Das sollte man nicht verpassen. Es war köstlich! Das Frühstück wurde im Garten serviert. Den Tag mit frischen Croissants, einem frisch gepressten Orangensaft und selbst gemachter Konfitüre mit Sonnenstrahlen auf der Haut in einem gepflegten Garten, neben dem beheizten Pool zu starten, ist für mich ein perfekter Start! Danke, für die schöne Zeit bei euch.

Cons: Es ist nicht wirklich eine Kritik, aber man sollte es vorher wissen. Wenn man in der Provence ist, besucht man die heimischen Märkte und kauft dabei natürlich Leckereien, wie Käse und Oliven. Da es in der Unterkunft aber nicht gestattet ist, zu essen, mussten wir unsere Picknicks außerhalb der Unterkunft machen. Ich verstehe Agnes und Eric, und ich würde es wahrscheinlich aus hygienischen Gründen genauso reglementieren. Letztendlich haben wir den gekauften Käse und die anderen Köstlichkeiten mit nach Hause genommen.

Super verblijf met fantastische gastheer/-vrouw.

Pros: We voelden ons heel welkom bij onze aankomst in Le Jardin de Mazan. Mede dankzij Eric en Agnes hebben wij leuke plekjes leren ontdekken en hebben wij ons de hele tijd culinair laten verwennen. Zeker een aanrader!
