Domaine Shambala - gîte en Provence avec une Grande Piscine

A unique place for a truly relaxing holiday.

Pros: Everything!! 1. The entrance and approach through the deer park. 2. The owner’s (Patrick) welcome and help on arrival, and also his attitude of simply wanting his guests to enjoy their stay. 3. The style, furnishings and equipment of the apartment, which had a real “wow” factor when we went in. 4. The swimming pool - its size, ease of access, cleanliness, setting, privacy, sunbeds, etc. 5. Delicious breakfast brought to us at our apartment on a tray by Patrick. 6. Ease of getting to other places in the area - e.g. local boulangerie and Velaux village centre (for restaurants, shops, post office, supermarket) - 10 and 30 minutes walks respectively, Aix city centre, A8 motorway, walks in the surrounding countryside, etc. 7. The owner’s wonderful friendly and affectionate dog, Vidoc, who was constantly wanting to play with our dog.

Cons: Nothing. It was all superb. (This is nothing to dislike, but visitors need to note that the entrance to the property is on the opposite side of the rarely-used railway line from the tarmac road. Access is through a small bridge under the railway. Easy after you have done it the first time.)

Amazing!

Pros: I had a wonderful 4-day stay with a friend at this charming and peaceful property. The setting is calm and relaxing — perfect for unwinding. Patrick the host gave us a warm and thoughtful welcome, despite our very late-night arrival, and his adorable dog made the experience even more special! The pool area is spacious and ideal for relaxing. We highly recommend this well-equipped place and would love to come back!

Pros: Le Domaine Shambala propose une prestation hors normes au milieu des bois et des animaux !!!

Cons: ... il a les défauts de ses qualités, il faut les accepter. Lors de mon séjour, il y avait 0° le matin ... prévoir les chaussons et un pyjama épais l'hiver.

Soggiorno piacevole e rilassante.

Pros: Posizione tranquilla e rilassante, piscina ben curata, proprietario Sig. Patrick disponibile. Abbiamo potuto condividere la vacanza con il nostro cocker Buby e Vidoc il cane di Patrick. Grazie di tutto

Wir haben die Zeit dort genossen.

Pros: Wir waren 14 Tage in dem schönen Anwesen, in herrlicher Landschaft und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten den Pool fast immer für uns alleine und es ist sehr ruhig und schön dort. Frühstück und Essen haben wir uns selbst zubereitet und an verschiedenen Ecken auf dem Anwesen im Freien gegessen. Die Kommunikation mit unserem Gastgeber war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Der Haushund ist anhänglich und verspielt. Von Velaux aus lassen sich kurzweilige Tagestouren ans Mittelmeer, nach Aix de Provence oder Avignon machen und auch eine Tour in die Innenstadt von Marseille ist zu empfehlen. Velaux selbst hat Samstag Vormittag Markt, knapp einen Kilometer von der Ferienwohnung entfernt, mit allen Köstlichkeiten der Region.

Cons: Jetzt im September gibt es in Südfrankreich viele Mücken und Autan hat uns wenig geholfen. Unbedingt Mittel zur Nachbehandlung von Mückenstichen mitnehmen.

Wir kommen wieder

Pros: Tolles Anwesen, toller Pool! Sehr witziger Hund👍☘️

Pros: Endroit très calme et bien situé. Le propriétaire très serviable et très sympathique.

Pros: Un séjour très reposant dans un endroit calme Apres nos balades dans cette belle région , la piscine était la bienvenue(spacieuse) Merci pour l'accueil Patrick (notre jack russel s'est senti comme chez lui!)

Ideale plaats om volledig tot rust te komen in volle natuur.

Pros: Je komt toe aan een grote poort, Patrick, de gastheer komt deze voor je openen, waarna je een lange oprit oprijdt langsheen een tiental damherten. Hij begeleid je naar je huisje en geeft de nodige uitleg. Het domein is enorm groot, maar toch in alle rust met enkel het geluid van krekels en vogels. S morgens en in de loop van de dag wordt je begroet door de hond des huizes \

Heerlijk verblijf in een relaxte omgeving

Pros: Zowel de studio als het buitenverblijf waren super. Veel privacy. Goed verzorgd. Heerlijk ontbijt en Patrick was een heel prettige gastheer 😁
