Highly recommend.

Pros: Room was quiet, clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Pool area relaxing. Abundant and delicious breakfast. The host, Caroline, is warm, friendly and very welcoming. Excellent location to explore the area. Great value.

A really enjoyable stay at Le Colombier, would return anytime!

Pros: We had a fabulous stay at Le Colombier. We very much enjoyed the friendliness of our host Caroline and the beautifully presented delicious breakfast. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed could have been a bit more comfortable. Also enjoyed the pool area on couple of afternoons, a pleasant way to relax after a day out. The daytime temperatures were above 30C but having the window open at night, we were able to sleep just fine even without a/c. The pretty town of Venasque is just up the hill and has a few nice restaurants to enjoy a dinner. The Gite is also conveniently located to reach other amazingly beautiful villages in the area.

Cons: We had a great stay!

Pros: Location and accomodation are very nice. Room is very clean, host is serving breakfast from some home made products. All in all, you feel like at home. Everything is arranged with tiny detalis that make this property very cosy to stay at.

Adventures in Provence

Pros: Caroline was an amiable and excellent host. We very much enjoyed the breakfast! We were happy that there was laundry service.

Cons: The village of Venasque, nearby, was amazing, as was the entire Luberon area. A car is a necessity. We were able to travel the hilly area, full of grand vistas, the roads surrounded by vineyards, fruit and olive trees. Also, we enjoyed our visit to the Lavender Museum, the village of Gordes and St. Didier.

Charming and welcoming

Pros: A lovely experience in pure French style. Caroline was the best hostess imaginable - friendly, charming, and eager to assist with almost anything!! Everything wss even better than expected, the best breakfast in the Provence with home-made yoghurt, marmelade, and preserves.

Pros: We were happy during our entire stay. The place is exceptional, very stylish, quiet and comfortable. We were into the way the 200-year old guest house was preserved. You could feel the love and respect towards the old family tradition. It cannot be compared to any hotels. Caroline, the host went out of her way to make our stay perfect. She accommodated my dietary requests. The home-made jam and youghurt were absolutely a surprise. The house is full of delicate details reflecting her kind and delicate personality. We are very lucky to have found this place, felt like at an old friend, would definitely return, and recommend to anybody who appreciates this kind of marvellous, unparalelled hospitality.
