Le Mas Silvestre

Lovely flat with a great pool a short walk into a nice village.

Pros: Nicely renovated studio flat with a private sitting area outside. Lovely shared pool which is heated which was important in October. Short walk into town where there are several restaurants and bars, a good butcher, two bakers and a good little spa shop. Also a good organic shop.

Cons: The soundproofing is poor. You can hear the flat next door fill their kettle, flush and watch television. The kitchen is sparsely equipped, for example no cooking knives. The dishwasher needed salt and rinseaid so everything came out very chalky (v. hard water.) None of this meant that we had a bad time, but we got close to saying this was a 7 not an 8.

A stunning place in beautiful surroundings

Pros: It’s a wonderful place, very calm, but within walking reach of the beautiful village and driving range of beautiful places as l’Isle-sur-la-Sorgues, Gordes, le Colorado Provençal, Roussillon. The studio was very beautiful with everything you need and a lovely terrace with view on Olive trees and vinyards. The pool is absolutely stunning with beautiful views

Pros: Very relaxing stay at Mas Silvestre with a wonderful location surrounded by the luberon but within walking distance to the village to eat and drink in the restaurants there. Leonard and his wife welcomed us warmly and were always happy to chat and advise if we had any questions. Breakfasts were sublime with so much choice of savoury, sweet and fresh fruit.

I/we loved it. Just the tonic we needed. I would like to thank our host and wish them well. Hopefully see you soon.

Pros: Super sympathetic with the Provençal flavour without it being “too Luberon”. Very clean and super quiet. Loved the pool and the pool house.

Cons: This is only to help: a poolside shower might nice for those who can’t swim. Also, if you could offer pool towels that would be great.

Perfect, picturesque holiday in Provence!

Pros: Beautiful quiet location close to a lovely village and accessible to so many wonderful areas. Amazing pool area and garden and outstanding views. Very clean, stylish and comfortable accomodation - it was very convenient having both a dishwasher and washing machine. Very private seating area outside of the Gite with a lovely view. Owners are friendly and polite.

Cons: Everything was lovely!

Charming place to stay to discover the country siede and its beautiful villages.

Pros: Very beautiful, charming and quite location surrounded by lavender fields. Spacious room with small.veranda or balcony. Very tasty breakfast and very kind hosts helping with local restaurants. Great pool area to relax and safe parking.

Cons: No towels offered to use the pool facilities. No room service during our stay (3 nights) - You do your bed by yourself! Balcony was not clean as not properly covered by a roof.

Loved our stay. Good location to explore surrounding towns and Saint Saturnin is a lovely village to eat and meet locals

Pros: Location of farm house close to town of Saint Saturnin.

Cons: Breakfast was from 8.30-9.30am exactly.

Pros: We were very impressed by the accommodation and pool. Very friendly and helpful owners and the continental breakfast was great. Even their little pet cat was very cute! A great place to stay and travel to other villages around the area, including Saint-Saturnin village which is only a couple of minutes away, plus there was lots of lavender everywhere!

A beautiful setting nestled amongst lavendar and olive trees. It was lovely having breakfast under the tree in the court

Pros: A beautiful setting, lovely landscape and pool, breakfast under the tree in the courtyard, guest tea/ coffee and refrigerator, fabulous views from the window and balcony.

Cons: The air conditioning is underfloor cooling. A fan would have been nice on the hot nights.
