Capelongue is a warm and welcoming hotel in a stunning setting.
Pros: The hotel is set in beautifully maintained grounds a short walk from the centre of Bonnieux. We were travelling with our 3 month old and the hotel was so accommodating, providing us with a cot, baby bath, baby towel, bottle warmer and toy! We felt so welcomed and they made our stay so easy!
Cons: The breakfast offering was a little limited.

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and fantastic food
Pros: The location, views, facilities all wonderful. Hotel staff so helpful and kind. Electric bikes were of great quality and worth the money to get around the local towns and vineyards (super hilly so make it so much more fun and doable). We also had a fantastic meal as part of the ‘four hands event’ at Le Bastide, which will forever make the stay memorable
Cons: Nothing. But worth noting it is a very steep walk back from town which was fine for us but may be more challenging for others - You can drive but will encounter hills / steps regardless

Lovely hotel in beautiful setting
Pros: The grounds are beautiful with great facilities including two pools, padel court, spa and various activities including yoga and pilates classes
Cons: Service came a little short given the price tag in particular at breakfast and dinner at La Bergerie; food options are also limited if staying for more than a few days

A perfect blend of design, culture, and hospitality—an unforgettable stay at Capelongue.
Pros: The setting is stunning, with refined interior design that creates a warm and elegant atmosphere. We also enjoyed the live singer in the evenings and the exhibition of a local artist, whose works were both beautiful and accessible. Everything contributed to a very special stay.
Cons: Nothing significant to mention, everything met our expectations.

Relaxing memorable stay in a glorious location.
Pros: Overall unforgettable stay. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating - especially Paul with his delicious iced lattes and thyme spritzes! Our room was spacious with a comfy bed. We slept excellently. We really enjoyed the beautiful location, which made morning pilates truly magical. It's also a great location for exploring the area, including vineyards and stunning market towns. Highly recommend dining at La Bastide (their onsite Michelin restaurant) - my wife is vegan and the menu was absolutely fantastic with many dishes rivalling their meat equivalent. Getting the caviar course add on was a great decision :)
Cons: There were a couple of minor issues - however all were dealt with promptly by staff. These were 1. we ordered some eggs at breakfast which took 40minutes to arrive, and had to be remade. 2. The power in the room kept tripping from the coffee machine and kettle. Again the staff quickly resolved within 24hrs but it was a little annoying as no lights were working, or any appliances including TV, Fridge and chargers. Both issues were solved quickly with apologies on both occasions but just a little annoying.

Absolutely stunning property, the gardens and hotel the ambience - 6 stars.
Pros: The moment you enter Capelongue you are welcomed by a charming valet who whips away your car and luggage, then offered a cold refreshment or coffee or both while you check in. We were upgraded to a lovely two story room with a little terrace and close to the spa and pool. The rooms are lovely, the setting is amazing very provencal with lavender, rosemary and summer flowers in bloom. We ate at La Bergerie the more casual restaurant for dinner twice , the food was great and the setting lovely. This is a 6 star hotel could not fault anything.

Just excellent and beautiful Provencial stay
Pros: A beautiful hotel and wonderful location. Tasty food. Convenient parking. They even upgraded us for which many thanks
Cons: It is a small point but they seem to have a small cleaning crew. Our room was cleaned towards the end of the day which was a bit annoying but not a deal breaker.

Lovely but room for improvement
Pros: Beautiful location, the pool is excellent. We loved the nearby towns. The facilities were beautiful.
Cons: We ate dinner at the main restaurant option (not the Michelin star one) - we really didn’t enjoy this. The food was very overpriced for the quality of the meal. The food was average at best. You are much better off going to a nearby town to eat a delicious meal or the Michelin Star on-site restaurant. We ate amazing meals nearby.

Good value stay
Pros: Beautiful interiors, comfortable, with good facilities. The restaurant was good for dinner. Breakfast was a bit average. The restaurant felt understaffed and stressed out at times.
