Cons: Fire alarm was on everyday while we stayed there, there was no fire, so some technical glitch but the pitch was pretty disturbing

Super comfortable, well designed, friendly staff, right in the heart of a beautiful French town.

Pros: Absolutely incredible hotel. So comfortable. The bed was divine. The room was spotless and beautifully designed. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. The pool, although tiny, is a lovely place to sit and read. It's right in the heart of town. Perfect.

Cons: Tiny thing! As Brits, we would have loved some free milk in the mini bar for our tea/coffee in the morning. There were only sachets of oat milk that you had to pay for, which seemed a bit odd in such a premium hotel. It was also a shame that breakfast isn't included because it's such a beautiful dining room. But we popped round the corner for a croissant at the nearby bakery and that was banging.

Stunning design and exceptional food, let down a little by lack of daytime service

Pros: An absolutely stunning hotel, the design is exceptional, so beautiful everywhere from the bathroom to the common areas and restaurant. We loved the pool and garden area and spent a lot of time there. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and we had dinner one night which was also exceptional. The location is fantastic, we loved the village and overall had a wonderful 4 night stay.

Cons: There was no service at the pool area for drinks - this was consistent across 4 days. There were QR codes on the tables suggesting you could scan those to order a drink which were a great idea, but they didn't work. We had to walk through the restaurant to the reception bar to order drinks and then take them back to the pool ourselves, yet there were often lots of staff at the bar so it was unusual that they didn't check on guests at the pool area more frequently. This is an expensive hotel which advertises itself as premium accommodation, so this lack of service was quite disappointing. It is also worth noting that the pool is right next to a school, which created quite a lot of noise during the day - this didn't really bother us but as the hotel advertises itself as a honeymoon location this might bother some couples looking for a more peaceful retreat.

Lovely hotel in the middle of town

Pros: Great location in the middle of town centre and property is beautiful.

Cons: Service could have been better - housekeeping did not refill water / refill coffee / toiletries during stay. Service in the restaurant could have also been more attentive. The manager, Christina however was fabulous.
