Pros: Very relaxed, quiet and felt like a country hotel. Far enough out of town - but easily walkable after an evening meal.

Cons: Perhaps some bar facility or an honesty bar/room mini bar would have been a nice touch.

A charming Provençal stay near Gordes with lavender and Luberon views

Pros: This is the perfect spot for a dreamy and peaceful summer getaway. Just a short walk from the center of Gordes, it offers both convenience and tranquility. Breakfast is served on the terrace right in front of the room, making mornings easy and delightful with a stunning view over the Luberon. We especially loved the spacious bathroom, beautifully designed in Provençal style. The charming decoration and the subtle scent of lavender everywhere add to the authentic atmosphere. We’ll definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying here again when we return to Gordes—truly one of the most beautiful villages in the South of France.

Beautiful and Authentic stay in Gordes.

Pros: Mas de la Beaume is a wonderful authentic property on the edge of a stunningly beautiful village. It is an an easy walk offering the best and breathtaking views of Gordes. Hosts were lovely and so accomodating giving great suggestions for restaurants and day trips. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, served on our wonderful terrace. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a great bathroom and linen and towels were luxurious. So much thought and love has gone into making this a perfect place to stay. For us it was such a quintessential French experience. Loved the pool as well. Thank you so much for sharing.

Pretty French chic, amazing hospitality and walking distance to a pretty village.

Pros: What can we say! … Mas de la Beaume is a magical place in every way. If you dream of staying in a place that is pretty French chic, next to a village from a fairytale then this is the place for you. Sandrine and Joel are more than perfect hosts, they go the extra mile to make sure your stay is special, from the warmest of welcomes, to lovely breakfasts delivered to you on your terrace, nothing is too much trouble. We can honestly say that we have never met a couple who found a special place in our hearts in such a short time. Thank you so much for a perfect stay. x

Cons: Nothing.. only that our stay was too short!

Pros: Lovely bedroom/bathroom in gite. Swimming pool was refreshing. Fresh breakfast & only 10 mins walk into Gordes

Cons: The room was far too hot, even with fans provided. Minimum toiletries (tiny bottle of body wash & little soap - nothing else). No option for any kind of service ie drinks by the pool etc.

Excellent place to enjoy nature and unwind.

Pros: The whole property is well laid out with lot of greenery. All rooms have privacy while the property is shared with other guests. The place gives you a feeling of serenity in which you can relax.

Cons: Since the place does not have a restaurant it would be good to keep options like fruits in the room/ common area.

Pros: Tranquil atmosphere with attentive and discreet hosts. Excellent breakfast beautifully presented and served.

Pros: In southern France, Gordes is my favorite place. It's very convenient to drive to other small towns from here. We stayed in this hotel for four nights. Both the room decoration and the garden are exquisitely designed. The 200-year-old house is well-preserved. We experienced sunny, cloudy, rainy and foggy weather. Standing in the garden, we felt the unique atmosphere brought by each type of weather. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend this hotel.

Really wonderful and would recommend definitely

Pros: Superb location. Very comfortable bed. Quiet and secluded feeling even though it’s only a ten min walk into Gordes. Great breakfast provided by the lovely hosts.

Cons: The only thing that could have made our stay even better would have been to have a heated swimming pool. It was very very cold - even on a warm day in September, so we did not spend as much time as we had planned, relaxing by and in the pool and reading our books. I appreciate it is probably fine in the Summer heat of July and August, but it would have been lovely to have it warm enough to swim in for more than five minutes or so.

Pros: Great location. Joel and Sandrine were very helpful and accommodating. They suggested places to visit and booked restaurants in Gordes for us.

Cons: We had a few problems with mosquitoes, even in early October. There are no screens on the windows, and it was too warm for us to close the windows at night.
