Quirky and unusual guest house in a superb central location
Pros: A charming converted town house right in the middle of L'Isle de la Sorgue, filled with quirky and unusual objects and art. An excellent location, and the guest house is run with great care to attention and detail by the owner. It's impossible to drive to the house but the owner offers off-site parking close by (for an extra charge). Our room was large and well-furnished, with an equally spacious bathroom. (No shower but a freestanding bathtub with hand shower).

A wonderful experience in a gorgeous French town.
Pros: La Maison Sur La Sorgue is absolutely stunning. A gorgeous old mansion beautifully renovated right in the centre of the old town. Frederick is the most charming and thoughtful host. The rooms are divine and the bed so comfortable. The breakfast Frederick served was like a work of art. The cutlery was so cute we purchased a set from Frederick’s store next door. We loved every moment and will definitely be back again. Thank you Frederick for creating such a beautiful place to stay.

Pros: Very nice location. A beautiful old mansion restored in the traditional way. The host was super friendly and polite and offered us good advice on restaurants and surrounding villages to visit. Very nicely decorated room.
Cons: The A/C in our room was not working properly and would definitely need replacement. Although the host provided us with a fan, the fact that there was an old A/C in the room for which we had paid a significant amount of money from our salary, was quite disappointing, and there was no offer for a discount whatsoever. Although it is a very nice property with an excellent location, it is definitely not value for money compared to other resorts we have stayed in the past with much more facilities and updated equipment (without losing from their original charm). Also, the breakfast was quite basic.

A delightful experience
Pros: A simple, traditional Provence breakfast served in a polite and friendly manner by a charming host in a lovely courtyard, protected by a large plain tree…a small swimming pool to the rear and surrounding plants. Essentially a 17th century building with modern facilities with Ethiopian artefacts in a small gallery and shop. A wonderful location close to the markets and the centre of town, but cool and peaceful. A bijou hotel with only five bedrooms.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Es espectacular, decorada con antigüedades, pinturas y esculturas que cura su dueño Frédéric, dicho sea de paso una de las personas más amable y hospitalaria que he conocido
Cons: No hubo nada que no me gustó
