Hidden gem near Atelier Cezanne

Pros: We absolutely loved this hidden gem next to Atelier Cézanne. Very comfy, calm, clean and well-designed accommodation. We felt truly welcome. The room is part of the owner’s home but features a separate entrance. Netflix and co are available.

Cons: There was literally nothing we didn’t like. Very nice hosts, great design, lovely little garden, very good breakfast. Only getting out of the parking spot can be a bit challenging (but one gets used to it).

Charming stay in quality accommodation in Aix

Pros: The location was very close to the city centre and felt very safe as there were electric gates. There was a garden area with seating which would have been relaxing if it hadn’t been raining! We liked the linen bedding and there was also a coffee machine as well as a kettle. The breakfast was great value- good quality coffee and croissants etc and fresh fruit. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. Our hosts were charming and very accommodating.

Cons: The small bath towels but that’s a minor detail.

A little gem in Aix

Pros: The location close to the town centre, the spotless clean room, the comfy bed, the peaceful feeling of the accommodation, the wonderful breakfast.

Pros: The lovely pool which we were lucky to use despite it being late in the season. Location was perfect being close to the town but far enough away to make it calm and peaceful. The hosts were accommodating and friendly but left you to be independent so it felt like you were staying at a private villa. Parking is excellent and the access was explained clearly before we arrived. We had a super time.

Cons: There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Pros: The exterior of the property was exceptional. The design and comfort of this area was absolutely fabulous and the pool a joy to swim in. Breakfast was served on the lovely terrace. The resident dog and cat are gorgeous.

Cons: The room is more than adequate but lets the experience down a bit.

Pros: Nice boutique space , well furnished. Close to the city centre. Car parking was a bonus. Coffee machine in room.

Cons: A bit of a hill to walk up to the property, although manageable.

Lovely relaxing stay

Pros: The pool is amazing and the bedroom very comfortable and cool in the hot summer heat.

Very nice and authentic stay

Pros: Location was a 7min walk to the town centre, the pool and garden was great, room was comfortable with a good sized bathroom, amenities and minifridge in room, we loved the big fluffy dog and cat that we’d sometimes see in the garden! Owners we rarely saw, only met the woman she was nice and let us leave our bags in her house before check in

Cons: Although a minor thing, we felt like our room didn’t get stocked up from last guests. There wasn’t much toilet paper, no milk so we didnt get to enjoy the coffee machine etc. We had to watch out for poo on grass in garden

Lovely stay in modern property with private pool in quiet location.

Pros: We had a lovely stay in this property which was about 7-8 minute walk to the centre of Aix and in a quiet location. We loved having the use of the private pool and decking area outside our room. The hosts, Boris and Veronique were helpful and friendly without being intrusive, special mention to Jessie the dog! Breakfast was definitely worth the additional cost. We would recommend and stay again.
