I cannot understand why this establishment only has 3 stars - it certainly merits more

Pros: This hotel proved to be delightful. The owner and every staff member were extrememly friendly - and went the 'extra mile' at all times

Cons: It was perfect and we will certainly be returning there for a future break

Wish we could have been there to sample the chef’s food

Pros: The pool and the fact they left a cold plate in the room for us on Sunday night.

Cons: It felt a little run down, umbrellas not working, etc the rooms need a facelift. We chose and booked on the basis of the restaurant reviews. Once we’d booked and paid we were told the restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday ( when we there)

Fantastic for a quiet stay in the Provence countryside

Small luxury hotel in superb location

Pros: A small luxury hotel is in a wonderful location outside Aix en Provence, with easy access to Marseille airport (40mins) and the Autoroute du Soleil (20 mins). Set in a beautiful open country environment with superb views. Our Comfort room was indeed comfortable, clean and well appointed. The pool is beautiful. Parking is easy and shaded. The restaurant is in a lovely setting in and around the old farmhouse. Dinner was delicious. Service smiling and friendly.

We had an excellent stay. The Mas de Fauchons is a beautiful property with exceptional staff.

Pros: Breakfast and dinner were excellent standard served in a pleasant room. The proprietor, who also takes care of the dining room, and in our case reception and checkout, couldn't do enough for us. A very satisfactory stay.
