Perfect place

Pros: Great property, with good facilities and free parking close to the centre of Aix

Stunning views

Pros: A really cute apartment with everything you could need. The views from the expansive roof terrace are phenomenal! Excellent communication, super-comfy bed, spotlessly clean. A truly memorable stay, thank you.

Cons: The tiny entrance door might pose a problem for the very tall!

Pros: I can't comment on staff as we let ourselves in through a lockbox but all the information given was accurate and easy to follow.

Romantic nest on the top of Aix en Provence

Pros: The flat is located on the attic of an independent 1-floor building within a very green residence on the top of a hill, from where you can see all dowtown. The flat is lovely and romantic, well furnished, with a wonderful terrace. It take 20 minutes walk to get the city center, but there is a bus stop (n.5) going to town.

Cons: The bathroom has no windows and is separated from the bedroom by a curtain. It would be a nice option to open a little window or to insert a suction system

Safe and secure

Pros: Safe, secure parking. Good position for visiting the city.

Cons: The gate entry system was a nightmare to negotiate. Uneven path to the property. Very low beams especially in the seating area and over the dining table caused us to bang our heads - suitable for people under 4 feet tall.

Great location, lovely view and excellent value.

Pros: The apartment has everything you need in terms of amenities. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated being able to do a load of washing. The deck (although now covered with fake grass), was amazing. Aix was a bit of a rest stop for us. We enjoyed buying wine, cheese and fresh produce from the markets in town (you MUST go to Fromagerie Bedarrides) and reading our books with the view. We enjoyed the walk from city centre. It was close enough to do multiple times a day. As long as you are reasonably fit and can handle a hill. Vincent was very nice and communicative on arrival and checkout.

Cons: The other reviews do mention the slightly low ceilings. This caused a bumped head a few times, but nothing terrible, and easily avoided with a slight duck around the lower beams.

Pros: Location. Directions to accommodation. Welcome. Spacious

Cons: Low ceilings and beams. I banged my head several times. I'm about 180 cm tall. My wife was fine as she is only a little over 150 cm

Perfect choice

Pros: Friendly and helpful owners who provided excellent directions. Convenient dedicated parking and good location. The apartment is a cute attic flat with everything you need, just make sure you remember to duck as you walk around! It was also great having the washing machine, and we were able to dry our clothes in a few hours on the sunny deck.

Cons: The only problem we had was when we came to leave. By then we had returned the remote for the building gate, but we assumed driving up to it from the inside would cause it to open. This didn’t work, and it was early in the morning so we didn’t want to call our hosts to ask how we were supposed to get out. We ended up spending 20 minutes driving around the building tryingvarious gates, until we came across someone else who was leaving and we followed them out.

Comfortable, well-appointed base for exploring Aix-en-Provence - Highly recommended.

Pros: Vincent was there to welcome us and remained available whenever it was needed. We felt very much at home in this quiet top-floor flat, which is decorated with taste and very well provided for. The bed and shower were perfect, and it was great to relax outside on the loungers admiring the panoramic view over the area! 10-15min walk to the town centre with buses available, if preferred.

Cons: Taller guests should beware of the low ceiling with wooden beams, but as long as you concentrate you'll be fine!

Pros: The apartment was lovely, nicely decorated, very complete kitchen (only no oven) and the terrace was amazing, with open views. Comfortable parking and 10-min walk to Aix city center.

Cons: The only problem we had was that the apartment, being a sort of attic , in some parts the ceiling was too low and my husband hit his head several times with the wooden beams 🙈 I just wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re very tall.
