Paradise in Aix en Provence!

Pros: Everything! A beautiful property, within walking distance to the centre. The natural swimming pool was an added bonus. Lilli was a superb host and a fountain of knowledge.

Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like

It’d be hard to beat Lilli’s standards - exceptional!

Pros: The accommodation was faultless with no detail of any sort overlooked. The proximity to the Cours Mirabeau was excellent.

Pros: Everything and more. Simply beautiful place to stay and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. If we could give 7⭐️ we would. Hostess and owner Lilli is lovely, we would love to return someday. Thank you so very much.

Cons: Our only issue was with locating the property. You cannot see the main building from the street and it is hard to park on the street. Once you know where you’re going it’s fine, but arrival was a bit tricky. Expect a modern building with vines creeping over it behind a large gate and a very narrow driveway. The main Villa is tucked in behind surrounded by the parkland.

Pros: Just a short stroll from the heart of Aix, Villa Amara strikes the perfect balance - close enough to enjoy the charm of town, yet tucked away enough to feel blissfully removed. This enchanting retreat feels like a private oasis, with all the grace and grandeur of a country estate, offering the best of both worlds: elegance, tranquility, and convenience. Lilli is an exceptional host—warm, charming, and remarkably knowledgeable. She goes above and beyond for her guests, anticipating every need with genuine care and thoughtfulness. Her personal touches and gracious hospitality transformed our stay into something truly unforgettable.

Cons: We loved every moment of our stay, everything exceeded our expectations, and there wasn’t a single thing we would have changed.

A local guest house in downtown Aix

Pros: Good location ; extremely quiet and relaxing ; nice garden and pool ; pleasant and hospitable host

Cons: No on site services such as room service and / or breakfast . Property is more like a guest house than a hotel property .

Perfect sanctuary in Aix

Pros: Beautiful decor, delightful host, sanctuary from the business from the town.

Pros: The glowing reviews about Lilli and the suites she has lovingly created for us are true! Prepare to enjoy luxury with heartwarming caring. The rooms are very large, even by United States' standards. The interior decorating and everything inside is of the finest quality. Thank you for your artistic talent and throughtfulness, Lilli.

Pros: Villa Amara is very well located in Aix, just a 5 minute easy walk to the Centre Ville. Our accommodations greatly exceeded our expectations as the Imperiale suite was spacious, immaculate and beautifully decorated. The grounds are gorgeous and Lilli proved to be an exceptional host, gracious, welcoming and helpful. We felt we made a new friend.

Pros: Lilli the owner was warm and so communicative .She informed us of where to go in AIX and surrounds and gave fabulous restaurant recommendations.The Villa was central and spacious.Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
