A beautiful, relaxing country house just outside of Aix

Pros: Beautiful pool, relaxed country setting, comfortable rooms and fabulous breakfast.

Cons: The location of the house is difficult to get Ubers or cabs to find - at times impossible. The bus is fine, if a little irregular. Probably best to have a car here.

Absolute aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar rust, gastvrijheid en authentiek comfort in een prachtige omgeving!

Pros: We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad bij Campagne Chastel in Aix. Vanaf het eerste moment werden we zeer hartelijk ontvangen door Philippe en Béatrice – je voelt je meteen welkom. Elke ochtend genoten we van een heerlijk huisbereid ontbijt, met zorg en smaak bereid. De kamer was zeer ordelijk en comfortabel, met oog voor detail en netheid. Het domein zelf is een oase van rust, omgeven door groen, ideaal om helemaal tot rust te komen. Het zwembad was een verfrissende bonus – perfect om even af te koelen en te ontspannen na een dagje in de Provençaalse zon.

The real Provence dream

Pros: The hosts Phillipe & Beatrice were incredibly generous, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was phenomenal as it turns out Phillippe was a grand chef for many years. Freshest eggs ever directly from their own chickens. Amazing place, fabulous pool, so much better than staying in centre ville Aix proper. Fantastic old farm house. 5 stars!

Cons: Wasn't aware how complicated it was to get there. Google maps takes you to the wrong location. We called the owners who immediately answered and guided us on exactly how to navigate the old roads. Still, very charming to drive the old back roads!

A charming place to stay outside the bustle of Aix-en-Provence but near enough to enjoy it all!

Pros: The lodgings met every expectation of the beautiful grounds, clean and comfortable rooms, and especially lovely hosts who provided breakfast every morning. The hospitality of the charming Philippe and Beatrice added to our trip as they even pointed out places we might enjoy visiting based on our length of stay and types of things we want to see. Very memorable and family friendly place!

Cons: There could have been a few more hangers or places to unpack belongings for staying more than a few nights. Also, finding the place the very first time was more challenging and GPS maps could never exactly find the right entry road for the property. It was worth a hunt to find it, though!

Pros: Phillipe and Beatrice were so accommodating and truly were such amazing hosts! The breakfast every morning was our favorite part and it truly felt so homey. 😊

Séjour reposant dans un cadre superbe!

Pros: Très joli cadre, avec des hôtes très gentils et un excellent petit-déjeuner préparé par Philippe qui s'adapte aux goûts des clients. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les conseils de qualité sur les restaurants dans Aix et les balades à faire aux alentours. Nous avons pu profiter du jardin et de la piscine. C'était très agréable et reposant.

Cons: Il n'y a pas de porte entre le salon et la chambre du bas. Il n'y a donc pas beaucoup d'intimité pour les personnes dormant dans la chambre du bas. Les produits de toilette sont restreints au strict minimum!

Pros: Tolle Gastgeber, köstliches Frühstück und ein sehr schöner Pool!
