The nicest small hotel in Aix

Pros: Rooms are very nice, super clean. Breakfast is completely pleasant

Cons: Blackout blinds on the rooms would help a lot

Stylish comfort and lovely helpful staff

Pros: Location is great. Walking distance to everything and the hotel had a great map and guidance. Looking out our window to the tree lined street had a village feel and we could see the mountain in the distance. Lovely presented place, very stylish in colours and furnishings. Good bed, large hot shower. Room was a nice size. Good number of electric sockets. Staff are great and kindly coped with our limited French.

Cons: Seems newly renovated so I would advise a bigger or second rubbish bin. The bed lights were on the same switch so both on or both off. The bedside tables set into the bedhead are small. The other thing I wondered about was the curtains and how visible we might be at night with the lights on. Note there are stairs.

Comfortable and pleasant

Pros: Nice and comfortable hotel at a great location. Rooms are reasonable size for a downtown hotel. Excellent and welcoming service. The breakfast is spectacular with delicious homemade yogurt, fresh fruit salad and eggs.

Perfect place for an exploration of Aix.

Pros: Location ideal. Breakfast good. Room very good ex lighting - not enough. Very nice refurbishment job. Staff could not have been more helpful.

Cons: Lighting in room. No lift.

Pleasant hotel, good location but rooms at front noisy

Pros: The girl at the front desk was lovely and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable

Cons: It was very noisy on a busy main rd The guy at breakfast needs some serious training, he was useless. Coffee and tea were cold, we had to ask for cutlery, he kept forgetting things and took ages to bring any food

Pros: Great location. Right to the entrance to the old city. The crew is friendly and helpful.

Cons: Accessibility: The spiral staircase leads to the room, making it inaccessible for guests with disabilities. No venting in the toilet - You should really do something about it
