Highly recommend this hotel but would not go to the spa again

Pros: Location excellent, room very good, staff in hotel helpful and friendly

Cons: The spa was well equipped but seemed rather disorganized with poor communication. One or two of the persons were very good but several others seemed to lack the correct skills or knowledge.

We had a fabulous family celebration.

Pros: It was a lovely hotel and it was well situated. A family group of 14 were able to wander about the town, meeting up in different groups. The family dinner in the Orangery was excellent and good use was made of the spa and pool. All ages were well catered for.

Beautiful place

Pros: Reception staff were excellent. We had a lovely room with a very comfortable bed. The whole place was spotless clean and the Location was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Cons: The only negative was the attitude of the pool bar staff. We found them quite moody and it put us off ordering anything as it seemed that we were annoying them just being there. We observed them being quite dry with other hotel residents too which was disappointing as the rest of the hotel staff were so friendly.

Pros: Great for exploring the old city, and nice facilities too.

Cons: Mrs Grump at the restaurant with typical French hauteur we were told at 7.20 that the restaurant didn't open until 7.30. Full stop. No \

Overall, I still had a good experience and would consider staying here again if the housekeeping is improved.

Pros: Overall a lovely stay with just a few small drawbacks. What I loved most about this hotel was its location — right on the edge of the old town, so it’s very close to the historic center yet quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, and the reception team was exceptionally friendly, warm, and helpful, which made a big difference during our stay. I especially enjoyed the view from the balcony, which was one of my favorite things about the room. The restaurant was also quite good, with decent food and a pleasant atmosphere.

Cons: The only downside was the housekeeping. The bedsheet had a tear in it, and the room cleaning wasn’t as thorough as I would have expected for a hotel of this standard.

An outstanding hotel in a superb location. Five stars!

Pros: Truly outstanding location to explore this lovely small city. The car park is very nearby and, although a bit scary on entry, very good for such a central spot. Loved the clean, simple but ultra-tasteful decor of the hotel, the friendly and helpful reception staff, the clean, pleasant room and comfortable bed, and the very good restaurant/bar/pool area. Excellent hotel, very warmly recommended!

Perfect stay in Aix

Pros: Excellent location; walking distance to good restaurants, shops and local sites of interest. Nice spa, gym and pool if you aren’t too interested in leaving the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. All round excellent experience. Highly recommended.

A great hotel in the centre of town
